How to stage your home!

Staging your home is an important part of selling it.

To spice up your home for staging try some of these for your exterior
~Have a fancy door, or patio, this would be good because first impressions are everything in selling a home
~ Make sure your back yard is cleaned up and the grass is green and looks health. Try putting nice furniture out on the patio and in the yard to make it look good.
~Gardens are every floral and attract people in. There colorful and provide calmness to everyone, so plant some flowers and get your garden on!

To make your interior look staged try some of these.
~Clean your house. Don't leave things on the floor, it will look really bad and people don't want to see a messy house.
~Put dishes put away! Dirty caulking? Replace it yourself and wipe it down with a sponge afterwards.
~ Try to fix those little defects.Worn out boards or linoleum? Toilet that doesn't quite flush? These seemingly easy repairs will leave a prospective buyer wondering what other repairs lurk beneath those floorboards. This will NOT get your house sold. .
~ The bedroom is for beds Besides the clutter they invariably drag with them, multi-purpose rooms make the house appear as if there aren't enough rooms in the house. Not a good sign to any buyer. The multi used room don't look every attractive.
~Olfactory sense The sense of smell doesn't just turn off when you look for a new home. In fact, it might go into overdrive due to the unfamiliar place, or in the search for offer-lowering defects. To keep that top dollar, remove any possible source of odor, and introduce sources of good smells, like open windows or baked goods.

If you use some of these ideas you are setting your self up for selling your home faster, staging your home is a very good idea for you to do.

This design has a very large open space, with an adult area along with a kids play area as well.  Its very plain and simple design. In the kids waiting room, there is items there that bright and colorful. It will also keep the kids relaxed and happy while waiting for the dentist. In the adult waiting room I have comfortable chairs and a sofa. The texture that I used is in the pillows, lighting, and the furniture. The overall feeling in this room is relaxed, but yet happy and energetic.

The effect with horizontal lines would be to make it look extends the length of the room.
The feeling you would get may suggest rest or repose.

Color Forecast

Color Forecast
Color forecasters are a mix between designers and sociologists. They understand what trends will be hot in the next year. The forecast for the upcoming year will be neutral colors with a pop of a bold color. The neutral colors will either be shades of grey or shades of brown. The pops of bold colors would most likely be reds, blues, or greens. With the many shades of a neutral color in a room, it creates a monochromatic scheme. The color forecasters are inspired by many different things; including fashion and other countries.
In this room i did two different monochromatic schemes, my first monochromatic scheme is my grays. from the color on the walls to the couch color its all different shades of gray. My second monochromatic scheme is my blues. I took a darker color blue for the chair to make it sort of match with they couch, but then i also have a lighter color blues for the lighting and the table. Over all i think that this room goes well with each other. Its the neutral colors (gray) with the popping colors (blue).

Color Schemes!

Monochromatic Scheme!
Monochromatic color

In this Monochromatic, even though this room is a neutral colored room. It has different shades of browns. I tried to do something that you wont see in everyday rooms, i wanted this room to stick out and have a good down home feel to it. Even though brown really is not on the color wheel, its still a monochromatic room.

Analogous Color Scheme!
Analogous Color Scheme

This analogous items that would go into a room sticks out and pops out at you. I wanted bright colors but i also had to make sure that they were next to each other on the color wheel. i wanted to do mostly red in this room, because the shades of orange will pop out more at you when you first walk into the room.

Triadic Color Scheme!
Triadic Color Scheme

This Triadic Color Scheme i did purples, greens, and oranges. I think that with little hints of green will make the room look more natural, and earthy. But also when you have the purple in the lighting fixtures it will make everything calm. Adding the orange couch and end table makes the items more seeing in the guest room.

Split- Complementary Scheme!
Split-Complementary Scheme

My split-complementary scheme, i wanted to do colors that would look good together, but yet not over power everything else in the room. Having the blue pattern wall paper makes the room all come together and have a calming feeling when you walk into the room. Having the orange couch and coffee table in the room, makes the room a little more outgoing and fun.

About Jenny Wrobel

The idea of creating a firm that makes design more approachable while still creating spaces with the “wow” factor. Having the room they way you want it, and just wanting to take deep breaths every time you enter a room; is how Jenny's inspiration comes from.
Jenny received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Regis University in Denver. This was a four year program that she went into. She has almost 6 years of experience in the Interior Design industry,
after she got out of college is was back on track for clients. She typically likes to work with clients who enjoy every moment in their life, and really expresses how they feel and who they.
Jenny would typically cost between $75-140 an hour depending on how the clients what things to be done.  In Colorado this would be on the normal side as well.

Job Search

My job search that I had to do was an Appraiser. You may ask what an appraiser actually does; well they estimate the value of items such as buildings, art, antiques, and much more. Appraisers also specialize in different types if items; some specialize in real property appraisal, which is buildings and property. Others specialize in personal property, which includes art, antiques, jewelry, machinery, and many other items. Some appraisers estimate how much businesses are worth.

Their work environments vary. Claims adjusters and examiners spend time in offices reviewing documents and conducting research, in addition to working outside when examining damaged property. Appraisers and investigators work outside more often, inspecting damaged buildings and automobiles and conducting surveillance. Most claims adjusters, appraisers, examiners, and investigators work full time. However, their work schedules vary.

You do need an education to be appraisers. In order to be an appraiser you have to meet the minimum requirements set the Appraisal Qualifications Board (AQB) in the fallowing three areas: Education, Experience, and State licensing or certification exam.

Your salary will vary; this will depend on what kind of appraising that you are going into. Top Retail Real Estate Executive will make the most and the one who makes the least is Real Estate Clerk. But everything will depend on what you want to appraise.

Overall job opportunities are expected to be highly competitive. Employment opportunities should be best in areas with active real estate markets. Although opportunities for established certified appraisers are expected to be available in these areas, the cyclical nature of the real estate market will directly affect the number of jobs for appraisers, especially those who appraise residential properties. In times of recession, fewer people buy or sell real estate, decreasing the demand for appraisers. As a result, job opportunities should be best for appraisers who are able to switch specialties and appraise different types of properties.
I really dont think that i would like being a appraiser, becasue I dont like having to deal with money and make the final decision of the items that you are going to be appraised. For some people it is a good job, but i dont think that it would be for me.
